Society (English Paragraph)



Society

Society is the oldest organization built by man. He built it because he needed it. The purpose was to live together. No sensible man can live outside it. Mutual interests hold them together in it. It offers him a wide range of advantages. It gives him protection and security. Everyone in the society serves everyone else mutually. It fulfills his wants and demands. For example, the farmer supplies grain to the weaver and the businessman. In return, he buys cloth from the weaver with the money he gets from the businessman. Again, the members of a society see to their mutual gains. They stand by each other in times of need. They mutually offer themselves protection, support and consolation. This helps self-growth of the members of the society. They learn to be good citizens from this. This is how society becomes the most important stepping-stone of the civilization.
