Pastimes
Pastimes are pleasure
occupations. They refer to our favorite activities. The proverb ‘many men, many
minds’ is true in this regard. As men’s tastes vary so do their pastimes. So
there is a wide range of pastimes to pursue. Some make garden to enjoy their
leisure. Some love to read books. Some others love games and sports. There are
some others who are fitness-conscious. They may go to gyms and pursue yoga or
exercises. One may enjoy practicing kung-fu or karate as well. Photography or
stamp-collecting is also a favorite pastime for many. Many enjoy watching TV.
Petting animals may be a pastime for many. However, change is taking place over
time as regards popular pastimes. Traditional pastimes are losing out to technology.
People are turning their faces from popular kite-flying or gossiping. The
youths are turning to newer ways and video games, social networking, online
chatting are gaining strong ground.
