Honesty
Honesty is the crown of all
the virtues. It is an essential quality of a good man. It keeps a man free from
all the vices and evil deeds. It is essential for a pious man. It is important
for anyone to be a good person too. Dishonest people are a thorn to the
society. No one believes them. They are looked down upon everybody. They only
do harm to others. Its importance for a good society is immense. A society can
not be good for living if the members of the society are not honest. Absence of
honesty affects the peace of a society largely. Similarly a state can not make
progress if the officials are not honest. Corruption spoils the government
efforts for development. Unfortunately, very few people in the society are
honest now-a-days.
